You are the future, Scotland’s CPO tells CLIP participants

Scotland’s Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, Professor Rose Marie Parr

“IT
doesn’t matter where you’ve been, or what you’ve done, but what you are going to do,” said Scotland’s Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, Professor Rose Marie Parr, at the Pharmacy Management Clinical Leadership in Pharmacy (CLIP) awards evening, which was held to present course participants with their certificates, and to celebrate success.

The course, she said, had “brought out the best in leaders” and she was glad it had been a success and that the effort required throughout the 18-months had paid off.

“You are the future. It doesn’t matter what the question is, the answer is always leadership,” she said.

The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive leadership series aimed at unlocking the potential of future pharmacy leaders by embedding collective leadership behaviours within the pharmacy sector. It is delivered within a structured framework of 12 taught days, separated into eight one-day events and two two-day residential courses.
