EMMA Charlesworth, Numark’s Head of Marketing said the company “strongly believes” that pharmacy should “maximise every opportunity” the NHS England Stay Well campaign presents to engage with patients, particularly those that would usually go their GP for minor ailment treatment and advice.
“Any support we can provide to members to help them get behind campaigns such as this are crucial, we are passionate about the need for patients to recognise the value inherent in community pharmacy.
“We hope that NHS England continues to recognise community pharmacy and the role they play in public health and we will continue to support our members to get behind campaigns such as these by offering a range of support designed to help”.
The company has developed a series of pharmacy training modules designed to help members and their teams provide advice on minor ailments to first time parents and carers.
It has also published a list of the bestselling children’s medicine products, developed a series of baby and children’s health planograms for members, negotiated a range of competitive promotions on leading health and wellbeing brands and provided discounts on Numark own brand children’s health products.
Numark members can also participate in a competition to win £75 worth of Love2Shop vouchers for their pharmacy by sending in a photo of their Stay Well campaign displays and explaining how they are supporting the initiative.
