MORPh Consultancy and Pharmacy in Practise are proud to announce their continued partnership in 2018, adding further Study Day locations around the UK, including Scotland, Cardiff and Exeter.
Founded in 2001, MORPh has gone from strength to strength establishing themselves as a provider of high-quality training for CCG and GP Clinical Pharmacists, meeting an unmet need for CPD events for the growing number of pharmacists working in GP Surgeries.
As a pharmacist-managed and led organisation, the expertise of director’s Dr. Duncan Jenkins and Rachel Jeynes has equipped them to secure work with some organisations including the National Prescribing Centre, the Pharmacists’ Defence Association, and many CCGs.
“We are thrilled to be in partnership with Pharmacy in Practice,” said Rachel Jeynes. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to reach out to a further number of pharmacists and offer valuable training for the future.”
Dr Duncan Jenkins, supported by an expert team of associates, is the clinical lead for Morph Training faculty and draws on 30 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist and head of medicines optimisation. By splitting his time between Morph and his CCG role, this enables him to draw on first hand and current experience when designing the events programme.
“We are very excited to announce the professional partnership with Pharmacy in Practice. This is a valuable partnership to add a different dimension to our training delivery, meaning we can align with the needs of pharmacists on the ground”.
MORPh Consultancy’s partnership with Pharmacy in Practice brings two dedicated organisations together with the aim of increasing access to training in both clinical therapy areas, risk management and competency development.
Johnathan Laird commercial director of Pharmacy in Practice said: “This professional partnership is something we are extremely proud of at Pharmacy in Practice. We have many shared values, so it feels like a perfect fit. Like Morph we aim to use the partnership to help pharmacists increase their competence, but possibly as important to us is to help pharmacists increase their confidence too. We have exciting plans, and very much look forward to the journey together.”
With many market research, MORPh has been able to further listen to the needs their network in the UK to introduce further training facilities in Scotland, Cardiff and Exeter as well as maintaining current Study Days in Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, London, Liverpool, and Preston.
