Our pharmacist is feeling the pressure now but thankfully she is able to hide it from her team. Her area manager advised her told ‘choose her mood’ on his last store visit when she shared a little of how she was feeling. He said her behaviour will be mirrored in her team and performance may drop. Her manager’s behaviour has changed somewhat recently. By this, I mean that on store visits rather than having open and honest discussions with our pharmacist he now praises her in public but prefers to have lots of private conversations. Our pharmacist has noticed this change and finds these private chats rather disconcerting.
