Three Scottish pharmacists have been recognised in the Queen’s birthday honours list. Dr Norman Lannigan, Clare Morrison and Jonathan Burton have been honoured.
Dr Norman Lannigan is now retired but was recently Head of the Pharmacy and Prescribing Support Unit, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. He was recognised with an OBE for services to pharmaceutical care and medicines management.
Jonathan Burton is a community pharmacist of the Right Medicine Pharmacy, University of Stirling. He was recognised with an MBE for services to healthcare.
Clare Morrison is Lead Pharmacist (Quality Improvement), NHS Highland. She was recognised with an MBE for services to healthcare.
