Our pharmacist has a Linkedin account. His current role is that of pharmacist prescriber at the GP practice and has done his independent prescribing qualification. He has not yet had any managerial experience to date in his career and he has been an independent prescriber for one year. On his Linkedin account he represents himself in the following way;

“Proven clinical leader in pharmacy. I am a key opinion leader in the field of diabetes and run successful GP practice clinics. I have potent leadership skills and lead on a daily basis. I am a sought-after pharmacist consultant to the pharmaceutical industry.”

Has our pharmacist gone too far and misrepresented himself or is what he has written acceptable?
