Later that same day our pharmacist is again very happy with the quality of his work because he picked up a prescribing error. Whilst reviewing a medical record he notices that one of his GP colleagues has written the incorrect wording on controlled drug prescription. The prescription needs to be re-written.
This time our pharmacist takes a photo of the prescription to illustrate the error. He took care to obscure the identifiable details on the prescription but by mistake included a portion of the patient address. He then posts the photo to a Telegram group with a comment about picking up the error. This particular group has 2000 members.
