Our story continues and our pharmacist finds herself on a final written warning owing to her perceived poor performance. Remember we are asking you to assess the cumulative effect of all these situations to decide if she would be justified in resigning and claiming constructive dismissal.
Another month has now passed. Unfortunately, the pharmacy receives a complaint which names our pharmacist. The complaint indicates that at a social gathering at the local football club on Saturday night our pharmacist declared;
“There are loads of folk in Edinburgh on psychiatric medicines.”
She doesn’t deny it. She is invited to a disciplinary meeting in two days time.
