Community Pharmacy Scotland (CPS) has announced a comprehensive series of events across Scotland to inform their members about the upcoming changes to the Pharmacy First service in community pharmacy.
CPS has announced that Survey Monkey will shortly become available for pharmacy teams to register for these important events. They have said that these will be coming out in stages with the January 2020 dates first, as listed below:

|Lanarkshire||29th January 2020|
|Forth Valley||30th January 2020|
|Lothian||3rd February 2020|

|Ayrshire & Arran||19th February 2020|
|Dumfries & Galloway||26th February 2020|

Commenting on the announcement CPS said the following:
“It’s absolutely our intention to have these meetings open to all. What we’re doing first is gauging interest from our members, as they will be the ones most impacted by the changes in the first instance.
“The venues had to be booked so although there are loads of spaces, we have no idea whether 10 or 1000 people will want to come!
“We’re going to measure as we go along and see whether we need more dates. When we are confident that there are spaces for colleagues from other areas of pharmacy, we’ll put an open survey monkey on the website so keep a lookout.
“A webinar will also be available in January 2020 to watch along with a Facebook Live ‘Ask me Anything’ event at the end of February 2020. Confirmed dates will be circulated as soon as available.”
