Greater Manchester LPC (GMLPC) have made their first appointment following their well-publicised restructure. Luvjit Kandula, current Head of LPC Engagement and Collaboration at PSNC will be leaving the national body to take up the role of Director of Pharmacy Transformation (DoPT) at GMLPC in the New Year.

The General Pharmaceutical Council has appointed Liam Anstey as the new Director for Wales. Liam has previously worked across the health and social care sector in leading communications roles for the British Medical Association, General Medical Council and Royal College of Nursing. Liam will begin the role on 11 November 2019.
Diane Leicester-Hallam has announced she is set to leave the Pharmacists’ Defence Association as Director for Member Services and will shortly also leave the pharmacy sector.
Mr Scott Garden has been appointed as the new Director of Pharmacy and Medicines with NHS Fife. Mr Garden will be responsible for leading, directing and managing the pharmacy service on behalf of NHS Fife and the Fife Health & Social Care Partnership.
